Cassone Leasing was selected to design and deliver a modular solution for a major infrastructure project located near the waterfront.
Multi-Level Modular Complex for a Large-Scale Infrastructure Project
Project Overview
The construction team required a fully functional, temporary operations hub that could support multiple subcontractors and serve as a base for daily site activities. Cassone developed a space-efficient, multi-level complex that combined workspace, storage, and climate-controlled areas in a single cohesive setup.
Cassone provided a total of 20 modular units, including 10 ground-level storage containers and 10 climate-controlled “Shanties” stacked above them. The upper-level units are connected by a shared elevated walking platform that spans approximately 90 feet, featuring stair towers at each end for safe and convenient access.
How Cassone Delivered
Challenge
The construction site offered limited space and required a solution that could accommodate a large, multi-disciplinary workforce without disrupting ongoing operations. The environment demanded efficient use of vertical space, reliable access between levels, and functional areas for storage, rest, and administrative work, all within a compact, active jobsite.
Solution
Cassone’s design team engineered a stacked iBox configuration to maximize available space while providing separate zones for storage and climate-controlled areas above. The elevated platform system, featuring stair towers, allowed crews to move between levels and access the shanties with ease and safety. Cassone’s experienced logistics team coordinated the delivery and installation process, ensuring each unit was placed precisely despite the site’s spatial constraints.
Outcome
The completed modular complex delivered a durable, comfortable, and fully functional workspace that supported the needs of multiple subcontractors throughout the construction phase. Cassone’s integrated approach, combining design, furniture, installation, and on-site expertise, enabled the client to maximize the use of limited space while ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout the project.
