Modern Container-Based Concessions and Support Units at Under The K event venue

Brooklyn, NY

Bowery Presents partnered with Cassone Leasing to outfit their “Under The K” venue in Brooklyn with modular ticket booths, guard booths, and concession stands.

Project Overview

The venue, situated beneath the Kosciuszko Bridge in Greenpoint, now features more than 20 Cassone-designed container units that support food service, ticketing, and security operations, while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic that complements the space.

Each unit was painted matte black to match the venue’s industrial and high-end aesthetic. Inside, the concession units are constructed with one FRP wall to house all electrical wiring and outlets, which are placed at counter height for vendor convenience. The addition of epoxy flooring made daily cleaning fast and efficient, ensuring the spaces stayed safe, durable, and easy to maintain throughout each event season.

How Cassone Delivered

Challenge

Under The K’s setting posed a complex challenge. The entire venue sits underneath a bridge, requiring each container to be positioned precisely between concrete columns and structural supports. The Bowery Presents team also needed vendor units that were easy to deploy, secure enough to store inventory overnight, and designed to handle heavy daily use while maintaining the venue’s refined aesthetic.

Solution

Cassone custom-built over 20 modular units for ticketing, security, and food and beverage operations. Each concession unit featured roll-up serving windows, lockable storage, FRP wall construction for centralized electrical access, epoxy flooring, and outlets positioned at counter height for practical use by food vendors.

The 40-foot bar container became the centerpiece of the setup, complete with interior fit-out, serving windows, and efficient utility placement. The modular layout enabled Cassone to install all units neatly within the bridge structure, providing full accessibility and a unified appearance.

Outcome

Under The K now operates as a high-performing and visually cohesive event venue. Vendors work in secure, comfortable, and easy-to-clean spaces designed to handle high-traffic food and beverage service.

The consistent black finish and premium materials reflect Bowery Presents’ commitment to quality, while Cassone’s modular design ensures flexibility for future events and seasonal operations. The result is a venue that functions seamlessly while maintaining the elevated look and feel of a Bowery Presents production.
